MTN

I am with MTN since 2009. In 2015 I took out a additional contract for a tablet. My cellphone contract expired Oct. 7, 2016. I contacted MTN in September 2016 so that the contract can be cancelled. Every time I phoned they told me to phone nearer to the time (7Oktober) so that they can cancel the contract. At the same time, I made sure of when my last installment will be and they confirmed the last debit order will be the end of September 2016. I again phoned them on October 7, 2016 to make sure that the contract has been canceled. The end October 2016 the debit order with the phone and tablet’s amount went through my personal. I have reversed the transaction. Again I called them to find out what's going on and needed to find out what is the tablet’s monthly payment so I can pay. The lady who assist me told me she cannot find any details of me on MTN's database not even with my ID of cellphone numbers. She then confirmed that everything seems to be canceled and that there are no outstanding fees payable (phone and tablet). I also told her that she must please be sure that's the case and she confirmed there is no outstanding debt. At the end of November 2016 the debit order went off again. So come January 2017 and I know that the tablet's contract is now due to expire 29th January 2017. So I call them again and this time I was informed that they handed me over to the Legal Department for an outstanding amount of R2500 !! I asked the lady I spoked to if she can I tell me who to talk to about the problem which she said they would contact me. I also asked why I did not received any billing statements from MTN for the past four months, her answer to me was that I must clear it with the Client Services ...... I also requested why to date I heard nothing from the Legal Department ?? She said that they apparently called me January 3, 2017 .... which, I can confirm that to date no one called. I also asked her for a reference number (which I asked each and every time I spoke to them), which she told me she will send everything to me via email. To date I had no emails or phone calls from anyone from MTN.
