At beginning of August 2015 a sale consultant from MTN contacted me regards upgrading of my cellphone contract and phone. at the time of the conversation I agreed to upgrade to better package that I was on. The new contract would be couriered to me to sign and returned. About 2 weeks later the new contract was delivered on which I refused to sign it as I had changed my mind and did not want to upgrade my cellphone contract for another 2 years as I had already cancelled my previous contract when it expired about 2-3 years back and had being on a month to month basis contract. The unsigned contract was returned unsigned to MTN. Comes the end of August I have already being charged upgrade fee and change of contract even though I never signed it. After, informing MTN on this matter it, I still have not being refunded the R104.99 upgrade contract fee that I was charged, neither will they now allow me to downgrade to pay as you go as according to their records my contract only expires in 2017, August sometime. I was informed last week that I cannot downgrade due to contract expiring only in 2017.
