Good Morning

I recently upgraded from a TopUp 200 to MTN Choice TopUp 55

I was not informed that if the inclusive airtime was depleted that I would incur out of bundle rates. It also came to my attention that MTN sets the default limit to R2970 (which was not explained to me nor shown how to set my own limit), knowing their customers will fall into this trap...I was also not sent a real-time notification of any sort to inform me that I was out of bundle and was being billed out of bundle rates.

I feel that this should have been explained by Adrian at the time I signed up for this contract. I now sit with an out of bundle account of R500+.

I managed to set my own limit after doing some research as I could not get through to the MTN Customer Care line.

I would like to return the Sony E4 I got and have my Top Up 200 contract run it's end as per my initial 24-month contract. Since MTN can make amendments to contracts I signed more than 2 years ago I might as well cancel a contract I recently signed up for.

Please get someone to phone me ASAP so I can return the phone and get my billing sorted out as I will not pay for the charges that were incurred.

Regards,
Best regards,
