MTN 808 - What a nightmare - don`t even try it. Pa

I have been battling for the last few weeks trying to get the correct person to speak with regarding an early upgrade on my MTN cell phone contract as my current contract cell phone is faulty. I am currently using a borrowed phone. I have been with MTN since 1994 and using the same cell number for 21 years. If it was not that I am a business owner and that all my friends, customers, suppliers, family, business contacts and everyone else by now knows my number off hand - I would have dropped MTN like a rotten egg and gone to any other provider. I constantly have to hold on for 15-20 minutes, the line just gets cut off or I am referred by a consultant to the next, and from the next to someone else. This is a nightmare and nothing less than absolutely pathetic. Anyone want good advice..? Don`t even try calling MTN`s 808 number. You will hold on for ages, will not receive any meaningful service, will get shunted around or the line will be cut and you ending up having to go through the painful exercise all over.
