MTN EAST RAND MALL shop 154. App**** for month to month data plan which I was told a ridiculous amount to pay upfront so I told the guy to cancel. After left the shop I got a number of OTP messages and two messages saying my application was successful and my order has been created. I thought maybe I’ll get another one saying the application has been cancelled which I didn’t. A day after I got two messages from Woolworths and Cape Union Mart saying my application for credit account has been denied which I did not do such application. I went back to MTN as they were the last person I did an application with and to ask about why I haven’t gotten that cancellation message, only to find that the guy never cancelled the application. I suspect that he does some kind of ***** as he couldn’t tell me why he didn’t cancel my application.
