MTN. 24 month contracts = 26 months

According to MTN a 24-month contract is 26 months long. I upgraded my contract in April 2022 and in May 2024 I cancelled my contract. According to MTN my contract only expired in June 2024 and still had to pay the full amount including the phone. My cancellation was only finalised in July 2024.
