Moving from Cell C to MTN was a big mistaken (the grass is not greener on the other side)
I cancelled my contract with Cell C to move over to what I though would be greener grass with MTN. Oh how I was wrong..
First of all, the number that they gave me previously belonged to some kind of con artist, so I get calls from seriously angry people who want to find her, claiming that I am her. Apparently she owes a lot of people R500. I also get calls from various debt collectors trying to collect her debt for various in store accounts.
Not only that but I get messages from men she must have known very well, since they are very much keen on her.
The thing that has been the biggest pain is trying to get MTN to send me invoices. Their website appears to be made some time in the stone age, as it can be unusable on some devices. When after hours of trying I finally managed to figure out their website (I'm a web developer by the way, I know what I'm doing), I was dissapointed that every time I requested the past few months invoices, I was met with errors. So, I submitted a ticket asking for assistance and for it to be sent. Here is how that went...
