More that 7 days for a new application????

We did a new application with MTN on Monday 08/07/2019. Till this day there is no feedback - Just 'your application is still processing' they keep on asking for bank statements reflecting the salary ?? i eventually highlighted where the salary is paid ( which is not very hard to see. We were told that this application would take 2 - 24 hours for finalization. It has been 7 business week day ( excluding weekends) when calling the calling center , every agent just says "your application is still processing" How long is this going to take ?? this is unacceptable!!
