More than a month and handset still not repaired!!

On 02/03/15 I upgraded my handset to a BlackBerry Classic at the Canal Walk MTN Store. A week later, 09/03/15 in the evening, I removed the handset from its holster and found that half the screen was defective (display). The touch function still worked. I took the handset to the CW branch where I got the phone and was told that the screen was cracked and must go to the repair center in Montague Gardens. I took the handset to the Repair Center on 11/03/15 and was told to come back with the box as they would book it in as a Warranty. On 12/03/15 I booked the handset in as a Warranty claim and was told I would have feedback within 24hrs. On Monday 16 March after not hearing from them I went into the branch and was told that the warranty had been rejected and was now being assessed as a repair. After not hearing from them in 48hrs I returned to find out that they could not do the repair and the handset had been sent to an external provider for assessment. Since then all I get from them is that it has been sent to the manufacturer and has been escalated. If I do not contact them I am not kept informed. It has now been escalated with priority and no feedback. What can I do?

Hello Pirax,

We truly are sorry for any inconvenience caused and for the delayed response to your post.

We see that your device was sent to an external repair centre as our warehouse did not have spares available for your Blackberry device.

We've now done a follow up with the administrator assisting with the quotation and will touch base with you soon.

Once again we do apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Regards
Tim
