Monthly fees deducted after canceling contract

I cancelled my data contract with MTN before I moved to the UK. I went into The Grove branch after waiting over 30min on the MTN customer service line with no answer. I also emailed customer service and got no reply, so I went into the branch. In the Branch I was told to phone the number, I asked them to help me. A sales assistant phoned the customer service and while I was there asked them to cancel my data contract. He told me it had been placed on a 30 day hold. Fees for that month were deducted, which I understand but it its July now and I am still paying. I went into The branch the end of April. I emailed customer service again, I'm in the UK now so I can't go in to a branch. I'm still waiting for a reply. I can be contacted by email or my UK mobile number.
