Month to month data SIM deal

Good day,

I recently went to an MTN store looking for a month to month data sim arrangement. Unfortunately, the sales representative was unable to assist me. They told me a story about paying additional amounts that they are not sure of themselves. They also have my FICA documents with them. Can someone advise if I can get this product or not from MTN?
