Money deducted after contract has been cancelled
I cancelled my internet contract in March but the monthly amount is still being deducted off my bank account. I have confirmation from mtn where they confirmed on the 16th March that my contract is cancelled and that the last payment of R299 will be made at the end of March. Well the amount of R299 has been deducted from my bank account at the end of April and at the end of May and then an amount of R314 was deducted yesterday as well. This is a total of R912 that was taken out of my bank account by mtn for a service that is cancelled and no longer in use. I have been out of the country on overseas travels for the last three months so I cannot phone the call centre or go into a branch. I can only email and have emailed three times to which I have not had any response. This is completely unacceptable! I need someone to attend to this issue URGENTLY and I need the total amount of R912 refunded to me AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
Thank you for post.
