Misrepresentation

In February 2023 I purchased a Iphone 12. Unfortunately it got ******. When I contact Apple is was told that it could not be traced as I did not set up the device for tracing. Truth be told I was never advise about such setting. Surely with crime so high in SA and cell phones being a big target one would expect your service provider to informed you of all security measures etc to trace a phone in the event it get ******/lost. This build down to misrepresentation for which te service provider should be kept liable
