Miserable service at MTN!

I am a customer of MTN all my life. I had this 083… number all my life. I consider myself as a very loyal client of MTN. On 1 February 2021 a ********** 078… number was detected on my account. This number was added to my current account without my knowledge or permission. On 1 February 2021 I called the customer service line of MTN and was put through to the ***** department. A lady assisted me with my complaint. I explained to her that the Cell number 078… was added to my contract without my consent. She asked me to get an affidavit and send it to her with my ID. This was done on 1 February 2021. This ********** person added a lot of money to my account. This lady promised me that this number will be blocked and she will change my billing method to cash. On 11 February I send her a follow-up e-mail but she never answered me. On 27 February 2021 I saw that this person is STILL ACTIVE on my contract and raking up large amounts of money. I contacted MTN and spoke to a male person and he promised me that he would see that this person is barred and that my billing method was changed to cash. (Ref: ***) On 27 February 2021 MTN deducted the total amount from my bank. It means that the promises were never kept. On 1 March 2021 I completed the ON-LINE ***** document and received the following ***. On 2 March 2021 I went to the MTN offices on 14th Avenue and a male person assisted me. (Ref: ***) The following was obvious….The ********** number was “BARRED” and then “UNBARRED” In the mean time I had to pay an enormous amount to MNT which is **********ly obtained! WHY should I support the ********** character? On 3 March 2021 the MTN offices was contacted again and the lady confirmed that the ********** number was NOT blocked and still active. She suggested that she will put me through to Cancellations Department and after 22 min I put down the phone as nobody answered the phone. I contacted the ***** line ***) again and spoke to a lady. She did not pick up any of the Reference numbers I supp****? She confirms that the ********** number was NOT blocked and still active. She promised me that she will block the number. I phoned the Cancellations Department and spoke to a lady. I ask her to cancel my MTN contract. She put me on hold to calculate the cancellation fees and after 22 minutes I put the phone down. I tried again and hold the line for 16 minutes….without success. I tried again and hold the line for 26 minutes……without success!! How can this be accepted as SERVICE at all?? What is clear is the following: 1. MTN has an enormous problem with *****! 2. MTN is NOT serious in fighting this crime! 3. The graveyard music on their phones is an indication of the level of their service!
