Merging contract and dishonesty

I was called by one consultant saying mtn is merging the contracts to R350 plan. The consultant assured me this would not affect the amount that I pay which is R220. When I received the statement this morning the amount is different. I usually pay R453 for all my mtn products but now the amount is R770. I am upset as I called the retention department and I did not go through
