MAY 2018 Yellow Trader does not have correct VAT amount on prices
Yellow Trader advertises a Sony XZ2 for 599, after applying in store to MTN Direct (today 8 May 2018) I was told that the additional 1% VAT increase still needs to be app****.
If you knew, like everyone else, from Feb 2018 that the VAT is increasing how can you in MAY 2018 still print the incorrect amount and want to tell a customer after applying just before submitting that the 1% adjustment still needs to be made - you have had a whole month since 1 April 2018 to correct it - also you had an additional almost 2 months before that, you make enough money out of you customers to have recalled the books and corrected the prices.
You advertised the Phone for 599 and I will take it at 599. It is your loss as you were not paying attention in RSA about the VAT ruling - you can swallow that 1% increase and take less profit - dont make that my problem. if you do I'll cancel my contracts.
I think it is very ********* of MTN to want to , for your own mistake, charge that to your customers - you will start bleeding customers.
