Marketing keep on phoning me- smeard a Contact on me that it not valid - watch out

After many marketing call from MTN / their agents I finally accept the special on Tuesday, 28 November 2017 at 19.31

Lucky the "special" was recorder or at least that is what the agent was saying.

350 min, 350 sms, 5gb data at R 369.00 per month.

Today, Saturday 2 December I received SMS that reflects a different package. I phoned Customeres Service on 808 and after terible background noise I asked ask to speak to a Supervisor. Going through all the security checks as if they are dealing with a crimalal I got a reference number: ********** 17

So strange, when they phoned me to do the marketing not all the Security questions were asked. I had to confirm my ID number. They had the rest. Looks like the security questions only applies when it suits MTN.

Sales will phone me back on Monday addressing my complain.

I can only share: Watch out for the Telephone Marketing people, they are just there to get a contact agreement, they will do all the tricks in the book to get your commitment including false marketing that I call lying.

Certainly I will report back here if I was wrong. Now it is costing me time and effort to get the contract cancelled. MTN is wasting my precious time and I certainly cannot recomment them to anyone.

Next time if I want a contact I will physical visit a store.

Dear Mike Ramaboka Thank you for the response. An agent did phone and shared it will be cancelled. It is now more than a week later (2 Dec). I was today as a MTN Walk-in and it is NOT CANCELLED. Someone shared that I must open a ***** case against MTN at the Police as it is the only way that I will get it resolved. Please advice the next step. You have me details. Thank you in advance.

How does MTN want to restore faith if it just looks like lip-service to me?
