Mail from MTN on black friday deals for upgrades

Yesterday i received a mail from mtn..The mail stated that you can upgrade using black friday deals as from today. I made an enquiry about these deals by a mtn store. I was informed that no black friday deals were loaded on the system . How on earth can mtn send a mail then that black friday deals are available from today ? This is totally unaceptable. I am totally digusted with mtn. In future i will think twice before doing business with mtn.
