Lying, *****ing MTN

2 months ago I renewed my MTN contract against my better judgment. The existing contract was approximately R300 p/m with 2G data. I approached MTN at Retail Park in East London to upgrade. They never had a contract that suited my needs. The consultant that I dealt with reassured me that she knew what I wanted and that I should wait another month to see if the new month brought new deals that suited me better. I did that. The next month the same consultant told me that she had a contract that gave me a better phone than my current one and it came with a contract that gave me 500mb of day time data and 500mb of night time date which would cost approximately R150 p/m and I could add a booster bundle of 2G for an additional R150 p/m. This suited me. After a month I had been charged for my contract and the booster bundle but did not receive the booster package data. After numerous phone calls to the MTN call centre and much frustration later I dealt with a team leader from KZN who informed me that the booster package was not comparable with the other package I had signed for. She also informed me that since my complaint, a memo has been sent to all MTN dealerships informing them of this. A little too late for me. I was told that I would be credited for the amount that I paid for the booster package. Which now leaves me in a 2 year contract that I didn't want and would never have agreed to. Now this month I am told my amount due is R457?? So I am still responsable for the booster package and the other contract. I was told by the original consultant from East London that if I want more data I must now pay for another bundle which costs more. I want this contract cancelled at no cost to me because I was given incorrect information and mislead. I want my previous contract reinstated from where it left off.
