Lying about their Huawei warranties

I cant believe that MTN and Huawei can rip me off like this, when my mom initially took out a contract for me, I toot the Huawei P9 almost 2 years ago, we were advised that there is a 2 year warranty on the screen and the phone, the screen is cracked and the battery have issues now so we took it in for repairs, now we get a response that we have to pay R4089 in order to fix the phone as the cracks touched the LCD as per the person I spoke to at the MTN repair centre, the phone is no longer even worth that amount . We have 3 contracts with you and you give us this service, 3 months before upgrading??? I will not have this contract upgraded we will rather move as this is theft and false promises, those "warranties" are bullsh#t, keep that phone we will be cancelling these contracts
