LONG LONG WAIT

I turned my phone in for repairs on the 9th May 2015. After two weeks I received a sms that my phone is fixed and need to pay R2996 for the repairs before they return my phone. I paid the repair the day after cash into their back account so if would reflect immediately and also asked the MTN shop to fax it to them. Its already 3 weeks later and still no phone. My mother has had the same issue, though she received her phone back still broken and has been without it for 4 months.

We are both on contract and pay our bills on date without questions asked. The question now is why should we pay for services not completed? Internal problems (the strike) MTN's problem is now the customers problem as well. Me paying my bill pays their salaries so give me a phone please.

Hello Harry2316,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We appreciate that you have made us aware of the issues that you were faced with regarding the faulty handset.

I apologise for any inconveniences caused as a result of this. I understand the frustration that you endured in your attempt to have the issue resolved.

Unfortunately, the IMEI number and Job Card number have been left out of your post which does delay the resolution time. In order to be assisted further, please contact the repair centre on ***.

Thank you
