My please assist Ive been battling to clear my name ,i had a contract with MTN way back then September 2020 i decided to settle the contract i went to mtn store and i got a settlement amount and i paid it in ,when i thought all is well i started getting calls and SMS’s from mtn stating I am owing Mtn i then called mtn and the agents there were not of use cause they couldn’t explain how am i owing while i settled then i went to the walk in center i was told not to panic as it was insurance for the phone and it would cancel as i dont have contract with them.

6 Years later i am still getting sms saying im owing and right now i just got another sms saying im owing R7114 what is it for?i am still using my Mtn number which was converted to pre paid after settling the account and I believe if you owing them they disconnect the number and also sometimes i get sms saying my insurance it’s still active how ?when i dont have contract with mtn even the phone they referring to it is dead its not working.

MTN has listed my name on the credit bureau i cant obtain credits and i thought my name would have been cleared but i see this is going to far🥺
