LACK of RESPONSE & RESOLUTION

Since the month of April I have experienced high charges for data from MTN. In April my debit order went thru so payment was effected. In May this escalated and I immediately queried this with MTN. I received a reference number from their Customer Service centre but no response was received. I did however pay my cell phone costs and some towards the data which has been my average spend. In June, the data charges on both my data line and mobile rocketed and once again I queried and requested an itemised bill for the charges but no response from MTN to date. As a result my service has been suspended and was told that I have to pay the account in full irrespective of the outstanding queries. I email every day and have also contacted via Facebook. This amounts to thousands of Rands which I cannot afford and am desperate to resolve.<br> <br> Subsequently, they have sent a Notice of Outstanding Debt but the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 also protects the consumer and when an amount is disputed the service provider is required to provide the requested details. <br> <br> Please refrain from sending me another apology and lie about my query being address. Focus on resolving my query instead and reply.
