Lack of response

My cell phone was ****** about 2 months ago. I am due for an upgrade in May. When I went to my local MTN store they said I should phone Retentions to see if they would allow an earlier upgrade as I will be travelling overseas shortly.

On Tuesday (10 March), I made 5 phone calls and wasted about 40 minutes being shunted between Retentions and Corporate Accounts and getting absolutely nowhere (each department said it was the other department's responsibility). Ref numberCB***2. I also left my phone number for a supervisor to get back to me as they weren't around at the time. Unfortunately I didn't take down the person's name, but, needless to say, 3 days later, they haven't even had the common courtesy to return my call.

On Thursday morning (12 March), I sent an e-mail to [Email Removed] Not surprisingly, this has also been totally ignored.

Customer service and even common courtesy are obviously traits to be avoided at all costs at this service provider, so I will be voting with my money and not renewing my contract.
