Lack of options leading to unfair treatment

My MTN contract expired and I was due for an upgrade. My old contract was an airtime based contract so every month I was allocated R350 airtime and 350 MB data. When I did not use up all the airtime/data it accumulated.

When I renewed my contrat I had about R600 accumulated. I did not want to loose this as I changed to a minutes contract. Logically I would have expected that my bill would be credited (reduced) with this amount. There was not such option and the sales person suggested converting the airtime to minutes. We went through the process and converted it to minutes. Throughout the whole process no warning of expiry was mentioned. After converting the R600 to minutes I saw this will expire within the next month. This defeated the purpose and I will not loose out on the amount as there is no way I would use up all the minutes before they expire.

I would appreciate if MTN can:
- reimburse the mintues that I converted back to airtime
- credit my bill (ie reduce) my bill with this amount of airtime

THe sales consultant tried his best to get this done, but he could not get MTN to do this.
