Lack of customer service

3 weeks ago I took my fone in for repairs as the screen was dysfunctional. Today I got an sms to say it will cost R2900 to fix and R330 for a quotation, that's if I don't accept to pay R2900. I went back to the store to query this becoz my fone is still under warranty. Eric, failed to assist instead told me that he also doesnt understand why I have to pay such. I got insulted when I asked abt the R330 which he never mentioned to me, telling me that people always say they were never told when such things come up. In other words I'm a **** *angry*. I've been a contract customer for years with mtn, and I find such to be unacceptable. A fone which on it's own decided not to function, still under warranty, contract still active and being paid monthly...now I have to pay for it n ****** hell for the stupid quote? I'd rather have my contract cancelled than to do business with *******. I want my fone back, this is plain ******* if u ask me. Nxa. In all the 8-9 years of being a loyal customer, that has never even missed payments, this is ridiculous. I want my contract cancelled immediately, u can keep that fone. Also, take urgent staff for training on servicing customers, to be laughing when a customer complains and not being able to assist is not on. Telling me to fone mtn myself, use my own money instead of dialling then as the customer is in the store as a way of helping was just too hard for Eric.

I am not happy with the response. Regardless of my previous message, i must go pay for something i wasnst told about? what about the fact that this fone is still under warranty?

So i reject the "quote" and then still stuck with a fone i cant use and if i accept the quote i have to pay R2900? ***

Clearly you dont understand my frustration. You are "displeasing" me and the service delivery sucks and so do your "standard business rules".
