Lack of Customer Service
So I loaded 1 gig of data on the 24th of May 2015 which cost me R160 and I got a gig free from MTN I also loaded R150 worth of airtime and to my suprise when I checked my balance today being the 26th of May my balance stands at 0 data and R0 airtime, I also requested my debit order to pull on the 20th of every month till this day I'm still waiting for my debit order to deduct. My top up bill has increased from R450 to R520 with no warning or reason

28 May 2015, 13:03Hello zinhle.maseko,
Thank you for your post.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience experienced.
According to our records, you were being billed for data you were using for downloading. There were 2 sessions where you were billed R91.91 and R74.29 respectively on the 25/05/2015 between 18:33:21 and 21:07:57.
Data usage is billed in volume (how much of data used), and not duration (how long you are connected for). You need to make sure that you switch off your mobile data after you have used the Internet to avoid automatic updates on your phone.
If you were connecting to the Wi-Fi there should not be any cost incurred, but please ensure that the cellular connection is switched off on your device when using the Wi-Fi, else your device may just connect via the cellular network instead of the Wi-Fi which will incur charges.
Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
Regards
