Lack of CARE in MTN customer care
I have an Afrihost account that I have not been able to use since Friday the 12th due to MTN's signal \issue\". I phoned MTN on the 15th to see why and they informed me that they are working on the problem with their network. It is now the 18th and as I understand it, the signal problem is fixed, however I still do not have any signal on my sim card. I tried to phone MTN's 173 number for prepaid numbers and I get as far as typing in my prepaid number. They then confirm my number, followed by the automated machine saying twice \"Thank you for calling MTN customer care. goodbye\".

I tried 808, but after repeating my problem to four separate people, I got referred back to 173 and I get exactly the same response. Does MTN not value their customers?
You'd think after this signal problem that the country has experienced over the passed few days, that MTN would be bending over backwards to convince their customers to stay."
