Just another unhappy MTN customer...
Worst network provider to deal with. If you get a call from their call centre don't ever agree into a contract with them as I made that mistake during our first lock down, last year . I was reassured that I could cancel at any given moment ,because I told the consultant I wasn't sure if i would still have a job after lock down , I was told that I could cancel at any time and wasn't made aware of any penalty cancellation payments and that I would basically pay for what I've used ,which I was happy with, and when I did choose to cancel and told them that the consultant advised me I would be able to at any time, I was told that they would need to investigate the matter first and listen to the telephonic conversation ,after many phone calls and being constantly redirected ,when I finally did reach someone that could assist me they sent me an sms to say that my complaint was deemed not in my favour! So now I'm stuck with this contract , of which I'm very unhappy and unsatisfied with. Why wasn't i sent any visible contract of which I could atleast read ? not even an email from them to confirm what we discussed telephonically .With MTN you never know where you stand . So don't be fooled. Especially with verbal agreements ,it's basically their word against yours since only one party has access to the voice recording of the conversation. I will never make the same idiotic mistake again and I just can't wait till the day my contract is over with MTN.
