Just another frustrated soon to be ex MTN client

MTN Pay as you don't go I use around R1200 of airtime and data a month, so you would think I might matter just a bit, but no. Their 083135 so called pay as you go helpline number, when called from a Vodacom phone (at least that works) gets you to MTN contract number help. Cant or wont transfer you to pay as you go. They just stopped my sim card at 09H00 Friday 27 July, I assume its to force me to buy a new LTE one, but who knows. A simple sms would have achieved a similar result. Armed with new card, sim swop process is impossible, waiting hours just to get my service and access to around R800 of my airtime and close to a gig of my data. Will port as soon as I have burnt through this. Must be the most useless cell phone company in the world. Cant wait to be rid of them.....

MTN erred in not informing me that some ******** at Telkom Mobile had *******ly blacklisted my 1 month old S9+. After some tooth pulling, I found this out and am now in one huge fight with Telkom Mobile, looks like a typo on their part, but boy does it take them long to reverse. Going to see them in the small claims court for damages. MTN live to see another day, if I thought their call centre was bad, Telkom Mobile's one cured me. Rather the devil you know.... PS rather use 173, 135 not properly active yet, regardless of what anyone says
