ITC bad credit score

I went in to the Clearwater mall branch on Saturday to open a new contract. After the salesperson captures all my information, he says that the system has rejected my application for a low credit score. I then call Transunion and pay R319 for a report which states that my credit score is 'Good', with a score well above 700. whats the issue then ? mtn or transunion or both ?
