"It's not my Job" Company

What a terrible and utter waste of time I've had with MTN. 07/07/16 - I phone 808 to change the residential address details on my account. The consultant (unfortunately no name was taken) does this for me and says she'll send me a new statement/invoice reflecting this. I never received this. So I attempt the same online, I was unsuccessful because the useless system says it is suspicious activity on my account. 08/07/16 - I go to ****arney Mall MTN with documentation to change my address. The consultant (did not take his name) states he cannot do it and I need to go to a MTN Direct store (Maybe reconsider your branding to indicate what type of MTN store I'm going into). I drive to Rosebank mall as indicated by said ****arney Mall consultant. Rosebank is unable to assist me as their system was offline due to routine maintenance (heaven only knows why this is done during normal working hours). So I phone 808 to change the address (Spoke to Buksile Ref: ********** 71) . She informs me that this will take a month to complete (how on earth?? Notice the first call centre consultant did not even mention this) . I refused to accept this and told her about my struggle to do something trivial with one of the leading telecom providers in South Africa. She attempted to assist me regardless of the "30 day rule" and for that I'm ever so grateful (insert sarcastic tone here). I received a mail from ********** with no document - only stating that my postal address changed (note I want my residential address changed). A complete and utter waste of time again... So a total call length of 50 minutes and 2 hours in driving around between MTN stores (yes, traffic happens) and then my details are still not changed. Something that should've taken me 5 minutes at most with your lovely online facility. How will MTN be improving their "Not My Job" policies that clients can be assisted IMMEDIATLY? How will MTN reimburse me for wasting my time? A year ago it took 3 months (yes 3 months) to get MTN to disable a recurring data bundle on my account. Will it take 3 - 6 months to update a residential address? It's now been 2 hours later and the promised Manager (Nompulelo Mdlethse) has still not phoned. Pathetic.
