I recently app**** for a contract with MTN and was approved although the consultant was really helpful. She told me I had been approved for R200 and after 3months I can apply again. I’m not sure if this is some **** to get rid of cheaper phones, because only phones available for R200 are worse than my current device I take home 60k+ a month and you telling me all I can afford is R200?

I find it so hard to believe that people who take home R5000 a month are given more credit. So in order to be able to apply for a contract you should earn in the bracket that says you can’t afford it and if this is the system then maybe it needs to be updated
