Irregular Debits to my Account

It appears as if MTN is *********** or someone is perfomring ********** transactions. I opened my contract in 10 August 2020. At the time of signing up, I was informed that the first payment of R199 would be debited on 1/10/2020. However, end of August, MTN attempted to debit my account. I called the call centre to query and was informed by an MTN agent that they were not supposed to debit my account and "escalated" the matter. I did not receive any feedback. Then on 1/10/2020 an amount of R237.38 was debited from my account. About a week later I opened a new line and was told my account was in arrears of R200 (not sure why when I queried and the call centre told me no amount was due). I paid the R200 which should have brought it up to date. I do not receive invoices or statements so I called the call centre yet again end of October to query what amount was due. I was told nothing was due. But, MTN tried to debit on 4/11/2020 and the debit order bounced. I then went into the store and paid this amount in cash, I did not receive a bill again so I called the call centre to query the amount due this month as it has differed every month in terms of amounts due. I was told by the call centre that no amount is due. But in true MTN fashion, an amount of R925 tried to go off. I went into the store yesterday to query as the call centre said no amount was due, I had received no invoice, and strange things seem to always happen. I was at the Gateway branch and was told that no amount was due. Today I received an SMS threatening that if payment isnt made the lines will be cut!! I do not understand what MTN is doing. Each month, the amount is significantly different to the contracted amount (R199 for the one and R329 for the other contract), I am told no amount is due when I query and then money is attempted to be taken off my account or a receive a message that services will be suspended. This is incredibly suspicious and ********* behaviour. How would I be expected to pay when no statements are received and I am advised by MTN staff both in store and the call centre that nothing is due?? I am sure all calls are recorded and your store has CCTV camera. I suggest you listen to these tapes and investigate before this matter is reported to the Ombudsman because this is very irregular behaviour. P.S. I also requested a detailed breakdown since contract was opened and was told I could not be given this. How can I rectify a problem when I am not aware of what the problem is? Why is MTN withholding information that I should be made aware of to manage my account responsibly. As I have not received assistance via the call centre or store regarding this matter, I will be reporting this further should I not receive a resolution.
