IPHONE 8 OUT OF STOCK FOR THAN 2 MONTHS

So its time for me to upgrade one of my contracts. After 4 reminder calls from MTN and 3 store visits I still haven't upgraded. I was due to upgrade at the end of November 2018, Its now the end of januworry.

Please explain to me how MTN advertises online and in their booklets the IPhone 8.... But they have been out of stock for more than 2 months ??

Now the store sales reps is trying to convince me to take the Iphone XR. I am not paying additional costs every month just because MTN ordering process sucks.

I phoned numerous branches and every time I get the same answer: "The Iphone 8 is on back order, we don't know when we will get stock."

REALLY?! How can you advertise a product you don't have? How does your stock ordering process work ?

Its funny how I was a prepaid customer for more than 10 years with no issues. Now a contact customer for 2 years I have endless issues. Firstly *****ing up my number(had to change my number), then taking a month to get my contract confirmed, and then another month for my second contract. Now issues with the upgrade?

Please can I have some answers.
