International roaming MTN rips off customers

In July 2015 I travel to Greece. While on holiday I down loaded 70MB of data using data roaming.<br> <br> Tthe EU has legislation in place to cap the maximum that a cell phone service provider can bill for data roaming at EU 20c. This about R2.90 so the most that my bill should have come to was R203.<br> <br> MTN sent me a bill for R24 000. To date they have refused to explain why they are charging me R300 per MB when the most it should have charged to from the local Greece Service provider was R2.9 per MB<br> <br> The only conclusion I can come to is that MTN are making a profit of X100 off my data roaming which is ********. I wonder how many other unsuspecting clients they have ********** ! <br> <br> I have lodged a complain with the Customer Protection Commission and have to date not paid the R24 000. The balance of our account have been paid in full. MTN have cut off all phones for my business which has caused difficulties as this was a business account.<br> <br> I have phone MTN, emailed the complaints line and to date had no response to this question. They standard response is that they have published their rates on their website. They refuse to discuss why they bill R300 per MB when they should bill R2.90
