International Roaming

I have recently requested my phone to be opened for international voice and SMS roaming by phoning the call centre. The very helpful lady assured me that it would be done. <br> Low and behold I travelled to China on Monday only to be stranded with a phone that wasn't activated for roaming. <br> Trying to contact MTN from this part of the world is quite challenging due to blocked websites, chat forms etc as regulated by the Chinese government. Trying to phone from here is also quite difficult and costly especially if one has to navigate the interactive call centre.<br> I finally resorted to mailing the MTN web master but haven't had a response in 48 hours. In the mean time I am totally stranded as I can not do online banking or anything requiring an OTP.<br> My request is this to MTN to please open my phone. Apology in advance for using this forum but I have no other option left to me, to communicate with MTN
