International calls

So MTN has decided that I can't make international calls from my airtime for which I pay. I have to buy special airtime in order to make an international call. Apparently, this was a marketing decision without my consent. How can you just change my contract which I have had for almost 20 years?

Thank you for your post.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

As per our telephonic conversation, kindly be advised that you did a an upgrade in 2017 and the package you have been on since then is My MTNChoice Flexi R350.

The airtime that is provisioned as part of the contract package can only be used for making local calls, sending SMSs and browsing the internet. Roaming, International Calling and all Premium rated services will be depleted from recharged airtime or subscriber usage limit only as per terms and conditions.
