Internal ***** at MTN
I was a victim of internal MTN *****. My account was hacked and 200gb was loaded on my account. The moment I realised this, I went to an MTN store and logged a ***** case Ref# ***. The data was immediately cancelled after only 2gb was used. The MTN employee confirmed that this could only have been done internally. Today, in the middle of lockdown, our accounts were suspended and payment of R7500 was demanded in order to reactivate. We received no prior notice or warning. We are working from home and this is obviously keeping us from working or helping our children with their studies. The ***** department refers us to accounts, and vice versa. We can't reach a single person to speak to in order to address the problem.
