Insurance claim unresolved for 2months #***8

My phone screen broke, lodged a claim with MTN insurance (# ********** 8 ) on 16September 2016, they collected the phone on 05 October 2016, didnt provide me a loan phone despite asking for it.

When I enquired on the progress of the claim on the 31st October 2016, it took weeks to get through to them, only for them to tell me that they have not attended to my claim as they didnt have the EMEI number of which i emailed to Gilian Leputu on 22& 23 September 2016.

The call centreagent I spoke to gave me a name of a supervisor (Ntombi Sibeko) who was supposed to call me on the same day to arrange a delivery of a loan phone after they offered a refurbished phone, and I refused it because it was only my phone's screen damaged. I am yet to receive this call to this day!

It's appalling that MTN cannot provide services that one pays them for!

Again today, after holding for more than 30minutes, I spoke to Neo, call centre agent, who before answering my question told me that I need to pay an axcess amount, eventually told me that it's at the repair centre and waiting for parts!

Today it's the 18 November 2016, It's been 2 months since the lodge of the claim.

MTN clearly doesn't care about it's customers and I am over trying to get help from them, so MTN, CAN I PLEASE GET MY DAMAGED PHONE BACK AND CANCEL MY INSURANCE!!!

Rachel
