Insurance
I posted a complaint before. MTN did not get back to me as promised. I took out insurance when I upgraded on the Samsung S6. I lost the phone. When I wanted to submit a claim, I was told that I did not have insurance. I knew for a fact that I took out insurance in the store. I was told it is R 180 p.m or something like that. I contacted the MTN store where I did the upgrade. Now the guy who did the upgrade told me I must give him my number. I had a look at my account and tells me I should have noticed that no insurance were debited from my account. I was also told by MTN Main Store in Umhlanga that a note was placed on the 15th of May that they needed a company letterhead to activate my insurance. I did the upgrade with a company letterhead in store. Why wasn't I told then that he needs another letterhead for the insurance? I received no correspondence about the letterhead. This Solomon now tells me that he is just a salesman and can't be responsible for the insurance. He tells me that it is my fault because I should have noticed that my account wasn't debited. He says he can't afford the phone, he cannot blame anyone accept the crime in this country. What an argument is that?
