Inefficiency and they still get a salary - HOW???

It took 2 weeks, plenty emails, loads of frustration and a report on Hello Peter to get the suspension lifted on one of our phones, eventually on Wednesday it was lifted so we could proceed with the upgrade of this phone. We have it in writing that it would take 2 - 24 hours, well it has been nearly 48hrs and still no upgrade and response from the store either. What I cannot accept is that these inefficient people still get paid at the end of the month weather they do their job or not. Surly there should be consequences to their actions or rather lack of action.
