Indefinitely roaming

I traveled overseas between 24 June 2023 and 01 July 2023, activated roaming but only my calls came through. I've been back since 02 July 2023 and my sim is still roaming, SMS only. I spoke to a MTN service champion everyday last week and each giving me different time frames on when the roaming will be switched off but I still have ab inactive sim on 11 July 2023. This week the service champions have been dropping my calls after giving them the reference number. I can't even cancel my contract because they want to charge me R2000.
