Incorrect information or *******ly adjusting contract

Hi I upgraded my contract 30 january 2020, next upgrade 30 january 2022, I went into the store to do a package adjustment, they say actual period served 3 months should be 9 months served, contract period remaining 21 months should be 15 months remaining, how is this possible?
