Incorrect information given and slow response

On the 29th August 2015 myself and wife when to the MTN store in Somerset West mall to sort out an issue that we have been having with MTN for sometime, they claim that the contract my wife holds is in arrears. We printed out bank statements as well as all the invoices from December 2014 till to date, the contract monthly amount is R389.00. and payment has been done monthly as depicted in the bank statements, Mr Nkejane confirmed in fact that the invoices had been paid monthly and stated that we should simply ignore the arrears amount as it was a fault on their side. We did as instructed, since them my wife's phone has been blocked due to the said alleged arrears amount. I in turn contact Mr Nkejane again and he stated that now the system shows that 2 of 10 invoices have not been paid, regardless of the proof we submitted, he then said if i need further explanation i should call the call center!
My frustration is as follows, why should i call the center if i saw him in person? He also said that he has notified his supervisors but we are still waiting for a response!
But every month we pay as expected but no help when there is obviously a problem!
