Incorrect Billing Query response time

In July 2016 I was debitted an exhoribtant amount on a top up contract that I have with MTN for June. I have the contract so that I can control my spend and do not use the MTN reload process. I enquired about this and was advised that I had sent short messages to the amount of around R2600 as well as airtime transfers of around R350, the consultants I spoke to could not even advise me what these were. I placed a query with a consultant a month ago as well as an online query, they suggested I reverse the debit, which I did, and I emailed the process through to MTN to advise.

Two weeks later I received an SMS to advise that my contract would be blocked if I did not pay the balance which was around R4000, again I called the call centre and was cut off 3 times before a genteleman assisted me and sent me a copy of the mail that he sent to help rectify the situation, he suggested I pay my monthly premium, which I did. It has been 10 days and I have not heard anything from MTN on the resolve on the query.

I received my statement today and see that the billing enquiry has not been resolved. I find the service and response times to resolve billing issues very tardy and getting information and clarity on personal billing painfully time consuming and MTN is good at ignoring their customers when it comes to incorrect billing inquiries. I have had the contract with them for 3 different upgrades and have not encountered such a billing issue and this is definitely a mistake from MTN's side that they are reluctant to resolve, or just plain uninterested.
