Incorrect Billing of Account

Good Day<br> Firstly i am so Irate with the bad service i received from MTN as they have been Billing me incorrectly for the past 8 months, However my contact has expired in September 2014 and they did not update their records, i contacted MTN (808) 25-05-15 for assistance and i asked them to cancel all debit orders for my account and Credit the amount they owe me first and we will sort out the rest, i received a SMS stating that my records have been updated but later on received a SMS 26-05-15 stating my account will be debited R970 on 29-05-15. I contacted MTN once again and asked them to please have my account sorted as i cannot have any debit orders going off from them until we sorted out how much they owe me, I got a sms 26-05-15 stating that my debit order has been cancelled and also received an sms stating that they sent through my query to credit my account and they are waiting for approval. MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DEBITED R970 (which has bounced back) and also R 349.40 from MTN! I have been charged by my bank for returned debit orders which MTN will also need to reimburse my account! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED FOR SUCH BAD SERVICE AND I CANNOT GET HOLD OF ANYONE TO GET IT SORTED.

Hello TizzyJay,

Thank you for your post.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.

Kindly note that when there is a billing issue and MTN has resolved it and found fault on their side, the money gets credited on your account. They cannot cancel a debit order when the contract has not been terminated. You need to continue to pay the account and settle the outstanding amount.

At the moment the service is slow because of the strike.

Can you Please advise on when you were billed incorrect and the reason you feel that you were billed incorrect so that I can investigate further.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards
Lungi
