I occurred damage to my handset by cracking the rear screen and that the handset was not charging from the charger block. At first I thought it was the charger that was broken but this was not evident as the charger was able to charge my spare handset. To resolve the matter I made use of my insurance claim and had MTN collect the mobile for repairs.
After two weeks from collection, I had not heard back from MTN so I took the liberty to contact your insurance queries center which after numerous of call backs and cut offs I was eventually advised that the phone was repaired and that a pending excess fee needed to be paid. Why did nobody contact me to advice me on this payment? Why did I have to chase up with MTN?

The Excess fee was paid and the handset was returned to me in neat good looking condition, however the phone was still not charging from the charger block! The only way that I could get it to charge was plugging it in into laptop. Reluctantly I had MTN re-book my mobile in for repairs, but guess what? The mobile was returned but still struggles to CHARGE OFF THE CHARGER BLOCK! On both occasions I was assured by MTN that charging problem had been repaired

Ashley
