I changed my banking details on 15/12/2015. On 1/01/2016 my debit order did not go off as scheduled I called on 04/01/16 to advise mtn of this they advised they tried to do the debit order but it was rejected on 8th Jan I called mtn again to advise mtn that the debit order still not deducted I was then informed the banking details change was done incorrectly in December it will be fixed and the debit order should go off but on 12th January I called again advising them the debit order still have not gone off consultant checked did some change it went off from my bank acc that day(12/01) now I keep getting sms messages I am in arrears with that amount every 2nd day I email my bank statement to a different consultant but no luck I just keep getting threatening messages my account will be suspended. I was the one calling to advise the debit order didn't go off in January I am the one sending the proof of payment through every 2nd day all the consultants keep telling me is that it takes 48hrs for collections to update your account don't worry your line is not suspended yet? What kind of service is this and who will pay reconnection fee for their mistake?

Hello shereen4,

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We've now perused your account and we see that on the 5th of January 2016 the amount of R711.00 for your invoices dated the 26th of December 2015 returned due to the incorrect banking details.

However the collection plan that was system activated was never removed due to the return debit order. We've now cancelled the collection plan and your next debit order will come off on the 1st of March 2016.

Regards
Tim
