*********** service by MTN - grief manufacturers
Hi, I wish to relate the most pathetic service imaginable that I received from MTN. My wife had a contract with Mtn for perhaps over 20years. She sadly passed away on the 30th August 2021.
I went to 2 local MTN stores and I was asked to contact the call Centre.
I called Mtn call Centre to advise them of the situation on hand and to convert the contract into a prepaid pay as yo go service . As per my telecon with the call Centre, they requested an email which I sent to Perseverance on the 05/09/21. She advised me that all will be in order.
On the 07/10/21, I called to follow up on the progress and I was advised to resend the necessary documents which I forwarded to Nonhlahla.
I thereafter had to go to the Pavilion store back and forth 6 times, handing over the phone, handing over documents, settling balance outstanding etc. On my last visit which was a few months ago, I was advised that all would be sorted out.
Guess what, I received a call from a law firm demanding money on behalf of MTN.
MTN has caused me so much of grief and pain, its inexpressible.
MTN, you have acted so very contrary to your slogan.
I simply ask, has anybody at MTN got any common sense let alone intelligence to do simple stuff that you should be doing.
I shudder to think whether there is any management personnel that is qualified.
My number *** is floating somewhere, owing to MTN's mess-up.
Thanks to Vodacom, you may contact me on ***.
